Our History

Mitchell Katchen began in the financial services industry in 1987, working as an agent and sales manager for Prudential Insurance Company. However, Mitch struggled with the idea that he was only selling one company’s line of products. This led Mitch to start Katchen Financial Group in 1995, which allowed him and his associates to represent not one, but many best in class financial services companies located throughout the world. Since its inception, Mitchell has built Katchen Financial Group from a small business out of his basement into a full-service boutique financial firm on the premise of doing whatever is truly right for the client, without depending on a single company to fulfill the client's goals and objectives.

Today, Katchen Financial Group employs a full-time staff at its Bridgewater, NJ office. In addition, Katchen Financial group has a network of highly trained, independent agents across the United States that follow Mitch's philosophy of always doing whatever is in the client's best interest.
